BRIEF BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS WEBSITE
Having remained dormant since its initial acquisition and registration a number of years ago and subsequent to inquiries by some family members concerning their Wright forefathers, the "thewrightfamily.org" domain finally was activated on 24 August 2006. After reviewing a few alternatives, Arthur Wright, with the advice and assistance of his son David, selected the current hosting facilities for the domain and uploaded a few initial files. Since then, they have grown in number and content and more are expected to be available. So, periodically, revisit the Website.
In the course of time, with the assistance, suggestions, and/or comments from all of the "immediate-" and "extended-family" members, some other files of genealogical data and informative Family histories, including various current news items, planned events, etc., might be acquired and made available or uploaded here. Further, a Family and Visitor "forum" feature is also planned. Undoubtedly, these pages and site features will enable such information to become readily and easily accessible via the Internet or World-Wide Web to the growing number of Family members wherever they might be located. Hopefully, by assisting us to learn more about and appreciate our great "immediate-" and "extended-Wright-family" heritage, this Website should be an interesting and enjoyable undertaking for all of the "Wright-connected" clan.
Your comments, suggestions, and input of information are sought and will be appreciated. And, should you discover any link errors, text misspellings, or other informational anomalies, please advise us.
Note: Presently, as well as in the future, some of the information that is deemed "family confidential" or "private" in nature has been or will be placed and located in various "Private-File" sections. Eventually, access to such will require a corresponding user name and pass code.
